Common questions.
DirectAdmin LITE allows up to 10 user accounts and 50 domains on the server. Standard (STD) allows unlimited user accounts and domains. Both include the same panel features - the difference is purely the account cap. Most small-to-medium hosts start with LITE and switch to Standard when they grow beyond 10 clients.
Yes. Open a support ticket and we will upgrade your DA license from LITE to Standard. The price difference is applied from your next billing cycle. No server downtime is required.
Provisioning, OS install, DirectAdmin installation and licensing, initial configuration (DNS, mail, PHP, CSF firewall, panel SSL), resource monitoring, weekly OS security patches, weekly DirectAdmin and plugin updates, and weekly offsite backups. You get a ready-to-use server - we maintain the layer below it.
DirectAdmin licensing is a third-party cost that we pass through at the fixed rate - $15/mo for LITE, $30/mo for Standard. We cannot offer discounts on this component. However, the VPS and management portion does get 2 months free on yearly billing.
Yes - four locations are available for DA VPS: Los Angeles, Atlanta, Frankfurt, and Amsterdam. Migrations to a different region after provisioning can be arranged via a support ticket.
Yes, full root SSH access is provided. You are free to install additional software and modify configuration files. We will still apply our weekly managed maintenance regardless.
We provision on AlmaLinux 8 or 9 - the recommended and most stable OS for DirectAdmin. CloudLinux is available as an optional add-on if you need per-account resource isolation.
No. Weekly backups are stored offsite on a separate backup node, independent of the VPS host. Restore requests are handled via a support ticket at no extra charge.
DirectAdmin natively supports reseller accounts. You can delegate a resource and account quota to a reseller, who can then create end-user accounts themselves. All plans support resellers - your license account limit applies to the total accounts across all resellers.
No setup fees, no contracts. Your first invoice covers the first billing period only. Servers are typically provisioned within 24 hours of payment. Cancel any time from your client area.
