Enabling RDP on Windows 2008 or 2012

  1. Open Server Manager. To open Server Manager, click Start, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Server Manager.

  2. In Computer Information, click Configure Remote Desktop.

  3. In the System Properties dialog box, under Remote Desktop, click on:

    • Allow connections from computers running any version of Remote Desktop
  4. Review the information in the Remote Desktop dialog box, and then click OK twice.
